Shockholm Parade is the heart of it all. Every year, thousands of people in costume gather to walk, dance, howl and celebrate through the streets of Stockholm. It’s free, it’s open to everyone – and it’s the biggest Halloween parade in Europe.

Where and when?
The parade starts in Sergels Torg and marches through the Old Town.
Exact time and route will be published here closer to the event – but we recommend being in place early to enjoy the build-up, music, and community vibe.
After the parade, we celebrate with stage shows, costume contests and surprises.
Who can join?
Everyone!
Kids, adults, groups, families, dogs, ghosts, monsters, glitter queens, goblins and everything in between.
No need to register – just show up in costume and be part of the magic.
You can walk the full route, or just join in along the way. It’s up to you.
Do I need to dress up?
Shockholm is all about creativity and self-expression. Whether you go full horror, goofball, glam or DIY, you’re part of the spirit.
We also have costume contests during the event with categories for all ages (and even dogs).
